Attracted by it, M. picked it up and seemingly at random kept it jumping on the fret of his bass guitar… Not quite as accidental, the singer found himself inspired by this playing to a tangerine song.. Circus music comes up and transforms a complete nonsense into a circus act…

With BuDuClan missing out on the definiteness of conventional songs there is no easy
access to unveil their music. This is no unability nor chance, but wilful hardship. For
BuDuClan do advocate the multitude und unrhymed, the undissolved which is
endangered by our reckless world to be erased – here it may live, survive the
“humanness” with clear kept mind for gist and substance outwith a normed daily
scheme that draines our energies.

The avaliable cuts on this site are only the tip of the iceberg. The countless sessions that were not processed for various reasons, do contain some material, that is worth to listen to.
By chance I came across a session from July this year.
Unusual way (both in terms of instrumentation, and the mood) comes this cut reflective and therefore mainly with organ. Of “water into wine”, “the camel going through the eye of a needle”, to “for the friend of flowers is the world full of flowers”, this cut points out in the direction of things, that are beyond the direct access and therefore so difficult to grasp. . .

Strange and mystical this cut comes from afar. . . . . . towards the end the singer starts to spin : How can a man kill in the name of god (or any other system). . ? Against the background of looped angels singing, the singer shouts and complains with great intensity, and continues grumbling to disappear in the distance (… and there probably continue to complain;). This must be called meaningful contrast!
Whenever people over to ownership systems, it happens – from the Crusades to the Holocaust to the current inhumanity. . .

Quite harmless and conventional it starts as a melancholy ballad. . . but then turns out to be an unbearable painful Free Jazz Orgy, loosing completely his poise and illustrates the “… going down”, because BuDuClan is not content with singing about the “going down”, BuDuClan wants to make it tangible!

That the (conceptually intended) separation of Solo, – and Bandwork is not really feasible. This results from the process of BuDuClan – Sessions:
“Everything from the sleeve …” . . . and inside the sleeve was still this flamencoriff.
I am currently working with my guitar in a flamenco concert, which can be heard on my solo page (redsongs.de) http://redsongs.de/?p=1897 . Who cares how it works with the loops, can study ( particularly well in the first part ) how to “superimpose” the guitars, transforming Budu-trio into a BuDu-quartet. About the opportunity to play solos (without the overall sound getting too thin), I found out how strong the loops are also style- and piece-forming, cause not seldom the recurring theme awards a flow his piece character.
A looper is no toy – but a tool !
