These two “weird birds” met in my kitchen. . .
Both came to me in different ways and the story how they did it
is so bizarre that it’ s worth to be told:
Some time ago I saw on TV the tragic death throes of a extinct Ornitokairos, that became so old that he could find no more females to mate. He raised his powerless wing once again for a last time, not less dramatic than the last scene of Capt’n Ahab ( Mobidick): he disappeared in the expanse of the sea, bound to the whale that he hated and “waving” beeing already dead. I told this story to a friend, who was so kind to take a picture of a Ornitokairos when visiting the Ethological museum.
I must have shown this a to a BuDufan, who bought an object of a danish artist from his hollydays as a present.
This way, both came into my kitchen.

Until much later, this story has been transformed into music. Lui one of our guest bassist, is also an oblique, funny bird.. .That was the moment to make this story even sound. . . .
